My name in Mars

NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory rover will take my name to Mars in 2011. Isn’t that awesome?!
I’m among the 3885 portuguese citizens that will have their name included in a microchip that will stand for eternity in the ”red planet” .

Hurry up! Just follow this link http://marsparticipate.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/participate/sendyourname/ to be part of History. Participation ends today!

Father’s Day at my daughter’s school

Today, I went to my daughter’s school and for almost one hour I was with the kids teaching a few things about logos… boy, at first, when I questioned if they know what logos are they answered ’No, what are logos?’ :)
After a brief explanation I decided to make a challenge that I prepared earlier… I printed some logos, folded the paper in 4 parts and I only showed them the upper left quarter… and can you believe it?
They guessed correctly all the logos!!
After that I let them express themselves by drawing on the black board the logos they made up… Man, I’ll never forget this wonderful experience…
Oh… and I received a nice signed ‘certificate’ made by my lovely daughter.
Thank you!

Green little fella :)

Hi,

Today I was returning home after my daughter’s pediatrician appointment, when all of  a sudden I saw a green guy walking on the sidewalk of Rotunda da Boavista, Porto.

I immediately grabbed my smartphone and  took the picture the fast as I can because the light went green and I needed to turn right. Unfortunately a car almost hide all my favorite mascot…. Can you spot him and tell me who it is?

You guessed. It’s the Google’s Android mascot! :P
